HOW WE WORK WITH HOSTS

Your host and our show-caller work from the same run sheet

Matched to your audience

Tell us your audience, language mix and programme. We recommend a shortlist of hosts who suit the room, not just the date.

Scripted and rehearsed

We draft the emcee script from your run sheet, you approve it, and the host rehearses key segments with our show-caller.

On cue on the night

Award walk-ups, lucky draw, videos and VIP speeches all land on cue, because the host and the control desk run the same show.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can you recommend an emcee for our event?

Yes. Share your date, audience size, language mix and event format, and we will send you a shortlist with showreels, usually within one working day.

Do your hosts emcee in English and Mandarin?

Many of them do. Use the Bilingual filter above to see them. If you need another language, let us know and we will check who fits.

Can we book a host without engaging you for the whole event?

Yes. You can book a host on their own. When we also run your production, we script and rehearse with the host as part of our show calling.

How early should we book?

We recommend about three months ahead. For December to February dinner and dance dates, book earlier, because the most popular hosts are reserved first.

Who writes the emcee script?

We draft it from your run sheet and you approve it. The host then reviews it and rehearses the key segments with our show-caller.

Do you have hosts for conferences and panel discussions?

Yes. Hosts marked Conference are comfortable with formal programmes, VIP protocol and audience Q&A. Tell us your format and we will match accordingly.

Need help choosing a host?

Tell us about your event and we will recommend hosts who fit your audience, language mix and programme.
